FAIRFIELD, N.J., December 6, 2007 - Kyocera Mita America, Inc., one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today announced the appointment of Peter Richardson as Associate Director, IT Reseller Channel Development and Marketing, for Kyocera Mita America’s Strategic Channels Group. In this role, Richardson will be responsible for developing strategic IT reseller partnerships, and expanding upon the recently announced EcoPro Plus program, a strategic distribution agreement announced in October 2007, with SYNNEX Corporation, a leading business process services company.
With more than a decade of sales experience and product, account and project management expertise, Richardson will play an integral role in executing upon Kyocera Mita America’s IT reseller channel initiatives. He joins the organization at an exciting time, as he will have the opportunity to build upon the momentum created from the EcoPro Plus program. Richardson will focus his attention on expanding Kyocera’s core reseller relationships; and provide each reseller with more cost-effective and reliable document imaging solutions for their customers.

Richardson most recently served as a national distribution account manager, printing solutions division, at Ricoh Corporation, where he managed the relationships with leading broad line IT distributors and focused on recruiting value-added resellers (VARs) and system integrators (SI) to sell printers, scanners, multifunctional products (MFPs) and software. With this deep understanding of the market, and a great deal of expertise in the development, launch and support of printer/MFP product lines and marketing initiatives, Richardson is a strong addition to the Kyocera Mita America team.
