EcoPro Plus Reseller Program: Demo/Trial Program, Tiered Rebates, Buy-in Discounts and Extensive Training Will Enable Kyocera EcoPro Resellers to Achieve Goals
FAIRFIELD, N.J., March 06, 2008 - Kyocera Mita America, Inc., one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today announced new initiatives in its EcoPro reseller recruitment program. The EcoPro Plus campaign focuses on a series of product trials, rebates and extensive training; aimed at building a strategic network of dedicated resellers.
The Kyocera EcoPro Synnex partnership, which launched in late October 2007, is a comprehensive managed print services market approach complete with hosted services and a new printer platform. The program is offered through a strategic distribution agreement with SYNNEX Corporation, a leading business process services company. At the onset of the program, Kyocera set forth to build a network of at least 500 resellers; selling to the small-to-medium business (SMB) market within six-months.
To garner reseller interest, Kyocera undertook a grass roots reseller inititative, focused on reward and educational initiatives. As part of the preliminary program, the Company rewarded partners by providing free color laser printers from the newly launched EcoPro product line. Kyocera will also be providing reseller rebates on hardware and consumables. These two reward programs showcase Kyocera’s commitment to the EcoPro reseller channel.
As part of the recruitment program, Kyocera has also placed an investment on education. Offering several regional training sessions, Kyocera will be providing select resellers -free registrations, equaling approximately $700 per registration. The training will highlight how resellers will support the EcoPro Plus program through the utilization of the PRINTSolv™ remote monitoring system, and PrintFleet print management and assessment platform. With advanced training, resellers can innovatively approach new customers with value-added solutions, and end-users gain new service offerings and an elevated partnership with their reseller.
"The addition of the EcoPro Plus Reseller Program to the SYNNEX portfolio expands the value SYNNEX offers my business through competitive differentiation. I can now grow my business into new areas, using Kyocera-based solutions that take advantage of the managed print services strategy," said Dan Dominguez, president, Sentinel Inc. "The rewards and training show the commitment Kyocera is placing in the new channel, and I expect their ongoing program support to help me gain incremental business opportunities."
Steve Petix, director, Strategic Channels Group, Kyocera Mita America added, "We’ve established an aggressive channel goal. We believe with the recruitment programs we have implemented, the channel exclusive product portfolio offered through SYNNEX and the value-added training we are offering, we will easily exceed our recruitment objectives. We feel our managed services strategy linked with the profit opportunity of a dedicated EcoPro supply business will resonate well with resellers; driving excitement, vision and knowledge to garner immediate business benefits."
