Kyocera Mita America Appoints Jeffrey Pelliconi National Sales Manager, Strategic Channels

FAIRFIELD, New Jersey - June 18, 2008 - Kyocera Mita America, one of the world's leading document solutions companies, today named Jeffrey Pelliconi as National Sales Manager, Strategic Channels. In this role, Pelliconi will be responsible for supporting Kyocera Mita America’s EcoPro Plus channel resellers through the development and implementation of strategic sales programs and initiatives.

Bringing over 18 years of sales experience in the document imaging and IT industry, Pelliconi will focus on strengthening the EcoPro channel by leading Kyocera’s IT Channel Sales Team and working with EcoPro resellers to develop the printer market. By leveraging Managed Print Services (MPS) sales initiatives, the Kyocera EcoProPlus Program will provide resellers with TCO and MPS tools and field sales support. Pelliconi will report to Steve Petix, director, Strategic Channels Group, Kyocera Mita America.

"Jeffrey brings to Kyocera years of knowledge and expertise from working in the field with the reseller community," said Steve Petix. "With an exceptional sales track record and a deep understanding of reseller perspectives, requirements and how our EcoPro Plus offerings can strengthen their business, Jeffrey is a strong addition to our team."

Pelliconi previously served as Senior Channel Account Manager, Printer Solutions Division, at Ricoh Corporation, where he developed sales programs, managed marketing and sales activities, and led sales training courses for its laser printer offerings. Prior, Pelliconi directed various sales management initiatives at Xerox Corporation, Tripp Lite, CompUSA and Monroe Systems for Business.

"I am joining Kyocera’s Strategic Channels Group at a time when the industry is in a state of transition. In recent years, resellers are beginning to realize the strategic opportunities in offering value-added services that go beyond box sales for steady revenue streams," said Jeffrey Pelliconi. "Kyocera empowers its channel with innovative opportunities, such as the MPS business model, and I look forward to working with the channel community to highlight how the Company’s initiatives will help increase individual resellers sales opportunities."

The EcoPro product line is a series of black and white and color printers that provide maximum performance at a significant cost savings for the workgroup, small-to-medium business and enterprise environments. With long-life consumables and one of the lowest costs per print, the EcoPro series delivers Kyocera’s hallmarks in high reliability technology with a low overall total cost of ownership (TCO). Kyocera’s EcoPro printers are offered exclusively through the EcoPro Plus Program, a strategic distribution agreement announced with SYNNEX Corporation, a leading business process services company.
